The annual Sun Trust National Marathon is this Saturday March 20. The marathon race course will meander through the Capitol Hill community including the Rosedale neighborhood.

•22nd Street to North Carolina Avenue (assumed closed just in the west-bound vehicular lanes) from 6:45 AM to 7:35 AM
•North Carolina Avenue to 22nd Street(assumed closed just in the east-bound vehicular lanes) from 7:35 AM to 10:20 AM
Half-marathon Race Course
•22nd Street to North Carolina Avenue (assumed closed just in the west-bound vehicular lanes) from 7:50 AM to 11: 00 AM
So, if you have the chance, get out to cheer the runners on and enjoy the few quiet and peaceful moments without automobile traffic...
